Madeleine Santos and Ali Ahmed Shaikhsulaiman were honoured with the ETH-Medal for their outstanding Master's theses. The prizes were awarded at this year's Master's degree graduation ceremony. Congratulations!

The Department of Earth Sciences has successfully nominated NASA'S Associate Administrator for the Science Mission Directorate, Thomas Zurbuchen, for an honorary doctorate. He received the award on the occasion of this year's ETH Day on 19 November 2022.

ETH Zurich remains the best place in the world to study earth & climate sciences, according to this year's ranking.
